Profile

When it comes to sourcing and purchasing the food we serve our customers, Benugo is committed to doing it honestly and responsibly.

We believe in great tasting, natural food. As a rapidly growing company with a national presence, it’s so important to us that we buy local, seasonal food whenever possible

Our vision is that our restaurants and cafés will showcase the very best in fresh, seasonal and healthy food. That’s why we aim to form long-term relationships with our suppliers, all of whom care about the food they grow, rear and fish.

Giving back

It’s also important to us to give back to our own local community. To help us support the causes close to our heart, we set up the Benugo Foundation in 2012.

We support Jamie’s Farm, an organisation that transforms the lives of vulnerable children from urban areas by helping them to connect with farming and food.

We donate 50p from the purchase of each of our re-usable bags to Jamie’s Farm. Find out more here - http://www.jamiesfarm.org.uk/

One great sandwich!

I was looking for a nice higher-end deli cafe in Clerkenwell and I'm glad I found Benugo. They offer a wide selection of delicious looking cured Italian meats (see the pics) any of which can be made into a sandwich. I had the daily special, which was a pork belly sandwich with apple sauce and spicy English mustard. Unusual yes, but sooo tasty.

I'm definitley going back to get a muffin one morning. So much better looking than the ones at Pret.

Excellent food and drink

This cafe served excellent toasted New Yorker Panini, and delicious cakes (very large could have shared both ), tea was good too, and although very busy, was clean with good service, would recommend
